Welcome to the Spank 2006 5-day endurance rally! This event will allow riders the opportunity to visit any of 19 states and 3 foreign countries as they wish. Challenges will be found for riders of every level. We'll start at the Mecca of Long Distance Riding: Gerlach, Nevada. Some of the greatest and most notorious Endurance Rallies ever staged were based out of Gerlach. Its history is storied and deep. We'll end in Colorado Springs, upon the lower steppes of Pikes Peak. The group ride with Mike Kneebone and George Barnes will start from Rally HQ, take you to Pikes Peak and Mt. Evans, and then on to the IBA National Meet in Denver. The pre-rally banquet will be a feast of hand-made ravioli and a multitude of other delectable food prepared by Bruno himself. The finishers' banquet will be a memorable gourmet experience as well. Checkpoint food will be provided that is tasty and healthy. Assorted swag is numerous and carefully considered. The rally flag is being handmade by a famous craftswoman, and is a valuable piece of art unto itself. Losing your flag will hurt more than normal. A few surprises, many sMiles, and the camaraderie of good natured people round out what you can expect during your participation in Spank 2006. We guarantee you the ride of your life.
