Welcome to the Spank2 2008 5-day Endurance Rally.
SPANK2 is a 5-day rally where you start from your home at 12:01am on
August 9th ( or anytime after that, as you wish ) and end at the IBA
National Meet in Tulsa, OK on the 14th. This unique rally will offer
all the experiental benefits of a Multi-Day rally with much less
outlay of time and funds. Riders are free to make this a 4- day, 3-
day, or even a half-day rally as they see fit and time allows.
This years rally will find riders seeing tremendous swaths of this
country. Coast to Coast, Border to Border, and everything in-
between. Like any ride of such magnitude, it could very well be the
ride of your life.

Disclaimer: because riders will be starting from all over the
country, using the exact same Bonus Pack as the 7-day rally, SPANK2
cannot possibly be a completely "fair" rally. One rider may happen
to live right next to a big bonus, while another rider may be a
state away from a nice sized bonus. Please understand this and be
sure you're comfortable with this before signing up. It's a small
price to pay for such a flexible, accessible event.
Brief Overview of Rally protocol:
At 10:00pm on August 8th, you will receive an e-mail containing a
pdf of the Bonus Pack, and map files+waypoints for all the bonuses
in Mapsource, Streets & Trips, and Street Atlas. You will print out
the Bonus Pack, and start planning a route. Upload all or part of
the waypoints to your GPS and get a starting gas receipt near your
home anytime after 12:01am on August 9th.
Ride the best rally you can, then arrive in Tulsa, OK on the 14th
and score along with the 7-day riders and your 5-day companions. A
Finishers Banquet that night will cap off one of the more unique
rally offerings in recent times. Complete details will be provided
in your Rally Pack before the rally commences.
Single Rider cost is $225.00, Two-Up is $325.00.
NOTE: Spank2 Registration date cutoff is June 15, 2008.
